Description: Stream Centerlines are hand-digitized from LIDAR, typically at a scale 1:1500. This feature class is composed exclusively of the LIDAR derived stream centerlines that would be represented by the NHD's NHDFlowline feature class. This feature class follows the same rules as the National Hydrogoly Dataset (NHD; authored by the USGS) in that each segment points downstream and is fully junctioned where streams meet. This feature layer is similar to the NHD in that it uses the same coding scheme as that used by the NHD subbasin datasets. Particularly important is the attribute called FCode which is used to categorize and symbolize a stream centerline.
