alert Interactive map upgrades begin Friday, April 11
The Mount Hood hazards viewer is undergoing a maintenance update and data layers may not appear. The viewer will return to normal service as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience during these improvements.

What is it?

The main purpose of this study is to help communities on or near Mount Hood become more resilient to geologic hazards (volcano, landslide, flood, and earthquake) by providing detailed information about the hazards and the community assets (population, generalized land use/zoning, building footprints, critical facilities, and primary infrastructure) at risk.

Use the interactive Hazards and Assets Map Viewer to view data for the study area, including the communities of Troutdale, Sandy, The Villages at Mount Hood, Government Camp, Odell, and Hood River.
